J.V. RACE
J.V. Runners must accompany a varsity team to qualify to run. The J.V. race is an open race, results and
times will not be posted at the conclusion of the race.
ENTRY FEES
$100 per varsity team (runners 1-9)
$190 boys' and girls' varsity teams combined
$20 per individual (up to 4 individuals) for incomplete varsity teams.
$100 per additional team or "B" team ("B" teams will run in the same event as varsity. You must run your
10-18 runners as a "B" team)
$80 per middle school team not accompanied by a varsity team.
ENTRY DEADLINE
Entry fees are to be paid in full and accompany the event contract by October 13, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.
Payments made after October 13, 2011 will be accessed a late fee of $20 and applied to the total team
entry. FINAL INSTRUCTIONS will be mailed with the event packet to teams with a signed contract. If
paying by check, please inquire.
SCORING
The varsity race in this event will be professionally timed by Michiana Timing Company and times will be
posted.
AWARDS
Champions in each division will receive a trophy. Top 25 individuals in each division will receive a
custom medal. Top 15 individuals in the J.V. races will receive a custom medal as they cross the finish
line. Top 15 individuals in the open race, both male and female, will receive a custom medal as they
cross the finish line. (No age groups.)
PARKING
Team buses or team vans will have access to complimentary parking. Spectator parking will be $5 per
vehicle. Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to teams on the day of the race.
ACCOMODATIONS
Accommodations will be available to teams and families at Manistee National. The resort features a 42
room inn, indoor pool and hot tub, grille and lounge, with ample parking. Special lodging packages are

Lake Cross Country Team in conjunction with Manistee National. The event includes both
boys and girls divisional races and an open 5K race. The race course will feature a three
leaf clover layout, bringing each mile back to the staging area for coaches and spectators,
on packed trails and groomed fairways.
